Brock Lesnar confirmed his retirement from WWE after featuring at SummerSlam last weekend.

Lesnar lost to Oba Femi to bring an end to their feud, with the latter securing victories in two of their three fights.

Brock then appeared on The Pat McAfee Show to say he was retired. However, as any wrestling fan should know, most people who think they are done usually end up coming back to WWE in some way.

Lesnar already appeared to fake a retirement at WrestleMania 42 earlier this year, and even though this latest retirement feels more real, there are some within WWE who think the former UFC star may not be done just yet.

WWE source thinks Brock Lesnar could appear at WrestleMania 43

According to WrestleVotes Radio via Fightful’s Patreon, there are ‘high-ranking officials within WWE who still believe he’ll be involved with WrestleMania 43’.

One source even suggested that they ‘can’t envision Lesnar walking away before one final payday in Saudi Arabia’.

The full update reads: “WrestleVotes Radio spoke again with a source regarding Lesnar’s future after his retirement announcement on The Pat McAfee Show. Despite Lesnar stating that he is finished in the ring, we’re told there are high-ranking officials within WWE who still believe he’ll be involved with WrestleMania 43 in some capacity.

“One source noted that if another match isn’t in the cards, the idea of Lesnar headlining the WWE Hall Of Fame in Saudi Arabia would certainly be on the table. That same source went a step further, telling us that ‘can’t envision Lesnar walking away before one final payday in Saudi Arabia’.”

So, it seems like the door may not be completely closed for Lesnar to make a return to WWE in some way if he wishes to do so.

Given there are no more really huge PLEs on the calendar this year, a return at the 2027 Royal Rumble or at Mania 43 would make the most sense.

Next year’s WrestleMania will take place in April in Riyadh, with exact dates yet to be officially confirmed.
