  • Randy Orton received a hero’s welcome in St. Louis, where he donned a hometown version of his “RKO Everybody” t-shirt. There were RKO signs everywhere.
  • A cheeky Orton asked St Louis what they wanted to talk about. Orton vowed that next time St. Louis sees him in this arena he’ll have No. 15 firmly planted around his waist. Orton then said his real home was the six people in the front row (his wife and kids) and the fans still cheered.

  • Michin reversed an electric chair with a hurricanrana, then caught Ripley with Eat Da Feet for a nearfall. Refusing to be denied, Ripley locked in the Prism Trap for the win. B-Fab hit the ring and was quickly laid out by Ripley. Cargill, B-Fab and Michin overpowered Ripley with the numbers game, but Iyo Sky came to the rescue.
  • Jade fled the scene and Sky dumped Michin and B-fab out of the ring with synchronized dropkicks.

Uncle Howdy Def. Tama Tonga

  • Tama Tonga went it alone after questioning why the MFTs are fighting over the lantern, which Tonga implied was cursed.
  • Solo Sikoa came down to the ring with the lantern as Tama Tonga had the match in control. Solo almost used the lantern on Uncle Howdy, but Tama Tonga waved him off. A distracted Tama Tonga walked into the Sister Abigail for the win.

Match Grade: B-

Trick Williams Steals Sami Zayn’s Spotlight

  • Trick Williams stepped all over Sami Zayn’s entrance by jumping the gun and walking out with Lil Yachty. Black Culture continues its takeover of WWE and it will be for the better. Yachty hyped up the crowd and encouraged “whoop that trick” chants.
  • Lil Boat congratulated Trick Williams. Williams invited Yachty to WrestleMania and Yachty accepted. Yachty and Williams went back-and-forth in a hip hop style promo that is sure to scare predominately Caucasian wrestling podcasters.
  • Williams asked for the pyro that was promised to Sami Zayn and he got it. Sami interrupted. “The pageantry has never been my thing,” said Zayn. Zayn cut the prototypical, boring and interchangeable “best wrestler in the world" promo. Fans sided with Trick.
  • Carmelo Hayes interrupted. Hayes said he carried SmackDown for months and refused to let Sami cross the one-yard line on the back of Melo’s work. Fans chanted “we want Melo!” as Melo said "listen to these people.
  • After being called “Ginger snap and Ginger Ale” by Trick Williams, Zayn snapped and accepted Melo’s challenge for a rematch tonight on SmackDown.

Aleister Black Def. Matt Cardona

  • Matt Cardona got out to a hot start, but Aleister Black cut him off after a distraction from Zelina Vega. Cardona and Black fought on the middle rope, and Cardona fought him off.
  • Cardona hit a double underhook powerbomb for a nearfall as he sold his left arm. A wounded Cardona struggled to his feet just in time to take a Black Mass.

Match Grade: B

Charlotte Flair And Alexa Bliss Def. Bayley And Lyra Valkyria

  • Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair isolated Lyra Valkyria, who repeatedly tried to make tag attempts to Bayley. Lyra hit a cross body off the second rope and finally made the hot tag to Bayley.
  • Bayley hit an impressive running sunset flip into the turnbuckle amid “Bayley” chants. Bayley and Lyra showed great teamwork with an assisted Samoan Drop/neckbreaker on Charlotte Flair.
  • Flair awkwardly caught a diving Valkyria and trapped her in the Figure 8 before Bayley made the save. Bliss and Flair isolated Bayley before teaming up for a stereo snapmare for the win. A very good tag team match.
  • After the match, the Unstoppable Forces mauled both teams.

Match Grade: B+

Damian Priest And R-Truth Def. The Miz And Kit Wilson

  • Backstage, Danhausen offered to join Miz and Kit Wilson in their tag team title match and reverse the curse. Miz vehemently refused.
  • After Priest took out Wilson on the outside, Danhausen begged to tag in. Miz refused, but R-Truth tagged him in. Danhausen tried to curse Miz, but Miz pulled the referee in front of him and he was cursed.
  • Miz hit the Skullcrushing Finale on R-Truth. Miz had Truth down for the three count, but the referee’s arm started cramping up as he went to count to three. Truth tagged in, and Priest hit the South of Heaven for the win.
  • After the match, Cody Rhodes stuck Kit Wilson with the Cross Rhodes. Cody cut a fiery promo where he said he didn’t know how to “be a bad guy.” He put himself over for setting WrestleMania gate records over the past three years. He buried the Pat McAfee reveal by saying it would be like if the NWO revealed the third man to be Disco Inferno. Cody says he has voices in his head, but “you don’t want to know what they’re saying.” He received mostly mixed responses from the pro-Randy Orton crowd.

Sami Zayn Def. Carmelo Hayes

  • Trick 'N Yachty watched the main event from ringside. St. Louis was unanimously behind Melo while they despised Sami. Wade Barrett touched on Trick and Melo’s history with Williams in NXT.
  • Fans chanted “Sami sucks” as Zayn began to overtake the match. Melo fought back and hit a picture-perfect tope to the outside. Melo began selling his leg as SmackDown went to commercial.
  • Melo sold his left knee as he delivered a Dirty Diana for a nearfall. Melo did further damage to his knee with a frog splash for another nearfall. Melo hit a First 48 but missed on a Nothing but Net. The referee took a look at Hayes and teased throwing the match out. Zayn hit a Helluva Kick in the corner while the referee was checking on Hayes and won.
  • After the match, Trick Williams laid out Zayn with the Trick Shot.
