One of the more surprising stories of this past week, former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell's boxing match with Logan Paul, has received a troubling update.
On Sunday, Paul announced via X that WWE pulled the plug on his potential boxing match with Bell, writing that he's "too valuable" to be "fighting bums."
Additionally, there was video footage from a recent live stream where Paul was called by an alleged WWE representative who explained why he couldn't fight Bell. Paul attempted to sway WWE's mind, claiming he was "no risk" he'd get hurt because NFL players "can't box."
Bell took to social media quickly after the news broke and fired back at Paul for having "somebody call in" to pretend to be WWE in order to avoid fighting him.
Steelers fans might've enjoyed seeing Bell take it to Paul, but with the fight cancelled, they can instead turn their full attention to the start of 2026 free agency.

Welp. The bosses called
Turns out I’m too valuable of a WWE Superstar to be fighting bums
I want to take this opportunity to congratulate @LeVeonBell and @BreidenFehoko for their 15 minutes of relevancy. Now back to being broke and retired
I’m going back to RAW every Monday…

TRENDING: Logan Paul is under heavy criticism from fans for claiming he received a call from WWE that he is not allowed to box any #NFL players.
“I’m not gonna get injured. These guys can’t box; they’re football players. There’s no risk.”
