Wrexham x Southampton - Highlights, Summary and Match Report
Southampton produced a dominant away performance at the Racecourse Ground, coming away with a 5-1 victory over Wrexham in the EFL Championship. The visitors struck early through Kuryu Matsuki on 12 minutes, before Flynn Downes doubled the lead ten minutes later to put the home side under immediate pressure.
Wrexham managed to respond before the break, with Josh Windass reducing the deficit to 2-1 on 34 minutes after being set up by Kieffer Moore. That goal gave the hosts a foothold in the match, but Southampton still carried the greater threat overall and continued to create the clearer chances.
