Molly Caudery says her World Indoor pole vault title "means absolutely everything".
The 26-year-old from Cornwall jumped a season's best 4.85m to take gold ahead of Slovenia's Tina Sutej in Poland.
It meant she reclaimed the title she won two years ago, a victory that propelled her onto the global stage.
Since then she has struggled at major championships, failing to register a jump at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris having gone into the event as one of the favourites to win gold.
Last year she finished fourth at the World Indoor Championships before injuring herself in the warm-up at the World Championships in Tokyo in September.
"I'm just absolutely delighted. It hasn't quite sunk in yet, but I'm absolutely over the moon, it was an amazing evening," Caudery told BBC Radio 5 Live.
"It's been such a struggle. I came to the rise quite quickly getting the world title two years ago, but since then I've been to Paris and didn't have a good one there and then Tokyo and got injured.
"So it just means absolutely everything to turn it around and get the win once again."

Caudery's victory contributed to an incredible Sunday at the World Indoor Championships for Great Britain as they won three gold medals in the space of 28 minutes.
Georgia Hunter Bell won her first global 1500m title shortly before Caudery took gold, with Olympic 800m champion Keely Hodgkinson adding World Indoor gold to her medal tally soon after.
"It was such a special moment for British athletics, and to share the stage with Keely and Georgia was quite an iconic moment," Caudery added.
"I think it will go down in history and it's just so lovely to be part of that group of role models for the younger generation."
