The United States men’s national team will close out World Cup group play with a match against Turkey on Thursday, June 25 at 10 p.m. at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles, CA.
The match will be broadcast in English on FOX or streamed through the FOX One App, with Spanish broadcasts on Telemundo or Peacock. Pregame coverage will begin at 1 p.m.
Fans can also download the U.S. Soccer App to track match insights, see highlights and vote for the Insiders’ Man of the Match.
After finding out that star player Christian Pulisic would be unavailable with a calf injury, the USMNT gutted out a 2-0 win against Australia’s socceroos on Friday, June 19. That win, paired with a 4-1 victory against Paraguay on Friday, June 12, clinched first place in Group D for the US and secured a spot in the round of 32.
That marks the first time the USMNT has won its group stage since 2010 at the South Africa World Cup.
While Thursday’s game against Turkey won’t affect the standings for the US, it’s an important match for manager Mauricio Pochettino's squad to keep up the momentum heading into the knockout stages, where the winner moves on and the loser goes home.
The USMNT awaits to find out its round of 32 opponent but will play one of the third-place group finishers in an elimination game on Wednesday, July 1 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, CA.
