OK, so you’re going to get to keep debating the VAR call in Croatia-Portugal in the comments, because that seems to be the thing people are still talking about today. We’re in the last day of the Round of 32; Round of 16 matches start tomorrow.

Whooo boy this match is going to dominate conversation for a while, isn’t it? Portugal equalised via a (eww) Cristiano Ronaldo penalty, went ahead in injury time, Croatia equalized with virtually the last kick of the match, but it was called back by VAR as offside in a HIGHLY controversial decision by Premier League VAR ref Jarred Gillett.

Switzerland vs. Algeria​

Look, I did not watch this because I wasn’t keeping my old ass up until 1.m. for freakin’ Switzerland vs. Algeria. Sorry not sorry.
