The WNBA is celebrating its 30th season, and the league is going all out for what could be a historic year.
While the WNBA will revisit the past with special celebrations like Court Origins Nights, it will also embrace the future. On Friday, the league released new Rebel Edition uniforms for all 15 teams.

Designed by Nike, the uniforms "reflect each team's energy, spirit, values and local influences, bringing emotional connection, cultural authenticity and a peak expression of each team's identity to the court."
The Sun, playing their last season in Connecticut before moving to Houston, decided to honor their history in the area. Their new alternate uniform explores the "special connection between the Mohegan Tribe and the Connecticut Sun."
"The path of the sun is symbolic with its visual representation of colors, dots and rising/falling curves to show resilience of its people, and their journeys on the trail of life," the team said in a statement.

1. New York Liberty
Inspired by the Brooklyn Bridge, the Liberty kept things simple yet elegant. This could be a popular jersey even for casual fans outside of New York.
2. Portland Fire
The Fire, one of the WNBA's expansion teams alongside the Tempo, managed to outdo the veteran clubs. Portland using roses to signify beauty and resilience just hits the soul.

3. Dallas Wings
Honoring the Dallas Diamonds? Utilizing Azzi Fudd's "The People's Princess" nickname? The Wings knew exactly what they were doing here.
4. Minnesota Lynx
Minnesota modernized its uniform to further showcase the power and patience of a lynx. There's strength in numbers, and the team certainly has that with top-tier players.
5. Washington Mystics
The Mystics paid homage to the women who made a change in "The District." One of the more colorful uniforms in the new Nike set remembers trailblazers from the past, but it also pushes the game forward.
6. Los Angeles Sparks
The colors and look of the Sparks' jersey stand out — just like many of the residents in the Los Angeles area.
7. Chicago Sky
The blue stands out and stays true to the Sky brand.
8. Connecticut Sun
As noted above, this jersey has multiple layers, representing a proud franchise and community.
9. Atlanta Dream
The Dream's alternate uniform has a simple but sweet color combination of black, blue and peach (of course).
10. Seattle Storm
Seattle creatively utilized the Storm name to create chaos in the middle of the jersey.
11. Las Vegas Aces
There's a UNLV feel here with a little bit of influence coming from classic Las Vegas billboards.
12. Indiana Fever
The bright red stands out. This jersey will be a welcome addition to the closets of Hoosier fans.
13. Phoenix Mercury
It was a nice touch for the Mercury to emphasize the "X" on the jersey to honor their fans, and the colors pop against a black background.
14. Golden State Valkyries
It looks like the Valkyries only slightly tweaked their current jerseys.

15. Toronto Tempo
The Tempo could have used more color here, but as a first-year franchise, Toronto is still looking to establish a brand identity.
