The Wisconsin Badgers received a notable commitment from six-foot-five shooting guard Baboucarr Ann, who plays his high school basketball in Maple Grove, Minnesota.
The 2027 four-star prospect communicated a few reasons why he selected Wisconsin over the other schools that pursued him.
"I decided to commit to Wisconsin because it felt like the right place for me both as a player and as a person," he said. "The coaching staff believed in me from the beginning, made me a priority, and had a clear vision for my future. I felt like Wisconsin gives me the best opportunity to develop, compete at a high level, and help win championships," Ann told Rivals.
USA TODAY's Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Ann picked the Badgers over Notre Dame, Iowa State and Minnesota, amongst other programs.
Wisconsin has been on Ann's trail for a while, reportedly offering him a scholarship last October.
