Paige Bueckers turned one social media confession into a signature flavor. Now, the Wings star is helping Gatorade bring that drink back with an even larger release and some Nike gear to match.
The story traces back to Bueckers’ viral July 2024 post: “I know a Shirley Temple hate to see me coming.” Her message collected 2.1 million views while showcasing the self-described old soul’s affection for the classic cherry-flavored drink.

Gatorade responded last summer by surprising Bueckers with a limited Shirley Temple version of its Thirst Quencher. This time, the company has expanded that idea into two exclusive collections arriving Aug. 6 through Gatorade.com.

What Comes With the Paige Bueckers Collection?
The first capsule costs $65 and centers Bueckers’ P5 identity. Buyers will receive a custom Shirley Temple Gatorade bottle decorated with two cherries and P5 branding, along with a towel and a collaborative Nike shirt.
Gatorade and Bueckers’ logos appear on the front of the shirt. The back features her signature and a receipt-style “Buckets On Tap” design, connecting the drink concept to what Bueckers does on the basketball court.
Fans looking for a smaller package can choose the second release for $20. That set pairs the custom bottle with the matching towel.
Gatorade has described the return as its most expansive product drop yet. The partnership also gives Bueckers’ original post a fitting second life. What started as a relatable comment about her favorite drink now carries her branding, signature and a full Nike apparel component.
Both limited collections will launch exclusively through Gatorade’s website, with the exact release time still forthcoming.
