For the third time in four years, a Czech woman will win the Wimbledon women's singles final. Who it will be remains to be seen.

No. 9 seed Linda Noskova and No. 10 seed Karolína Muchova will face off for the Venus Rosewater Dish on Saturday, July 11, at England Lawn Tennis Club. One of the two Czech players will win their first major title and follow in the footsteps of Markéta Vondroušová in 2023 and Barbora Krejčíková in 2024.

“I really don’t know (what makes Czechs successful here). If I knew, I guess all the other countries would have been doing the same thing," said 21-year-old Noskova, would could become the youngest Wimbledon champion since fellow Czech Petra Kvitova (21 years, 116 days) in 2011. "I’m proud of our country for having all these great champions.”

It's the first time two women from the same country will compete in the singles final since Serena Williams defeated Venus Williams in 2009. Like the Williams sisters, Noskova and Muchova, 29, were Olympic doubles partners, finishing just off the podium in fourth place at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
