Will Wade's return to LSU has received a lot of attention during the offseason, which is the type of noise that the program hopes will quiet down once the players hit the court this fall. With that said, LSU is a bit of a marked team this year, and will have an early-season test against one of the more consistent programs in all of college basketball.
The Tigers will head to the Pacific Northwest on November 14 to face the Gonzaga Bulldogs at Spokane Arena in a highly anticipated non-conference contest. The Bulldogs have been something of an SEC slayer recently, as the team has won seven out of their last nine games against opponents currently in the conference.
Regardless of the outcome, the game will have a historic nature to it. LSU and Gonzaga have never met previously on the hardwood, which adds to the compelling nature of the tilt.
