A pair of Oregon Ducks will represent the program on an international stage this summer. Pitchers Will Sanford and Tanner Bradley both cracked the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team and will compete in the inaugural World Collegiate Baseball Championship in Taiwan next week.

The team will begin play on July 11 against Korea, with games also scheduled against Chinese Taipei and Japan. If the Collegiate National Team advances far enough, the championship game is scheduled for July 15.

Sanford dominated the Oregon rotation for the entire 2026 season, finishing with a 3.74 ERA in 17 starts. He racked up 126 strikeouts, the second-most by a Duck in a single season in program history, and earned All-American honors from Perfect Game USA. He is expected to return to Eugene as the leader in the rotation again next season.

Bradley was Oregon's most reliable piece out of the bullpen last season. He was named a first-team All-Big Ten selection and earned multiple All-American selections after notching 84 strikeouts and a 1.66 ERA in a team-high 31 appearances. He also set a program record with a 0.82 WHIP in 2026. Bradley could shift to the closer role or remain a high-leverage arm with his ability to cover several innings.

Florida led all programs with three players named to the Collegiate National Team roster. Oregon, Auburn, Mississippi State, Texas and UCLA all secured a pair of representatives.

Standout freshman first baseman and catcher Brayden Jaksa was also invited and competed for a roster spot, but was not chosen.

Sanford and Bradley are the first Ducks to earn spots on the Collegiate National Team since right-handed pitcher Kenyon Yovan did it in 2017 and 2018. It's another sign of how much the program has grown under coach Mark Wasikowski, despite the complications the program has endured this offseason.
