A nightmare of a 2026 F1 season for Max Verstappen got even worse on Sunday in Monaco. The driver who came into the race seventh in the driver's championship standings was in the front row behind Kimi Antonelli, with maybe some hope to come out with a victory.

But when the lights went out, his car barely moved at the start. He eventually got going soon after that, but then he brought the Red Bull car into the garage and retired it for the rest of the race. That would be a DNF for the former world champion, giving him zero points.

What an absolute disaster for him and the Red Bull team.
