Why Jaxson Dart was 'puzzled' after latest visit to the blue medical tent

In his rookie season for the New York Giants, quarterback Jaxson Dart made multiple visits to the blue medical tent during games, some of which he returned to. He was also diagnosed with a concussion that led to two missed games.

On Saturday, Dart took a huge hit from Minnesota Vikings safety Jay Ward with the clock ticking down in the first quarter and was sent to be checked in the medical tent. He was eventually cleared, but he wondered why he keeps being checked.

"As far as the blue tent, I really respect the rules and the thought behind NFL has of keeping players healthy and reviewing things," Dart said to reporters after the game on Saturday. "But at the same time, I'm still puzzled by it just feeling like every time that I get hit, I just find my way in there, which at times I still try to wrap my head around."

What Giants coach John Harbaugh said about Jaxson Dart needing to be checked​

From ESPN:

The Giants' medical staff checked on Dart in between quarters. The medical spotter from above called for the concussion check. It surprised Dart and Harbaugh.

"Honestly, I was [surprised]," Harbaugh said. "But I would say that their job is to err on the side of player safety, so I can't argue with that either."
