Jason Robertson is one of the highest-profile players potentially available this offseason.
He's coming off a season in which he had 45 goals and 51 assists. It was a career year, and he's a rising superstar.
Robertson was a guy that many thought should've been at the Olympics, but he missed that team. He's that level of talent, though.
Now a restricted free agent, Robertson might cost too much to return to the Dallas Stars.
The Seattle Kraken are one team interested.
Reports have indicated that Robertson turned down a Kraken offer, a massive one, up to $15 million per year:
The Stars wouldn't have been able to match that offer against their salary cap space.
It's a bit stunning that Robertson turned it down.

Why didn't Jason Robertson take Kraken offer?
Robertson simply must not have wanted to play for Seattle.
If that offer of eight years for $15 million per year is legitimate, that's about as high as he can expect to get. So it's about more than the money.
Robertson may feel he has other concrete options, or he may simply not have that in mind as a destination.
Are the Senators involved?
There haven't been Ottawa reports lately, so maybe they're out here.
But they were rumored early, and so it's worth keeping an eye on the Senators.
It might come down to what Robertson wants, because the money obviously isn't the only thing. Would he go to Ottawa? Maybe we'll still find out.
