It was getting too out of hand. The point was to offer a chance to talk to the players a bit -- offer a line of communication. It's become a dumping ground for the frustration.

With the injury to Mr. Smith, we got a chance to see Anderson, (sp) behind Shipp, for a spell. If games get, what appear to be, out of hand, will we get a chance to see Parsons as well as McCown or will Josh get all of the snaps?

Jo - I think the question on most peoples' minds is: What kinds of new things are being done at various levels during the Bye Week to turn things around.
I realize how easy it is for this question to be perceived as a negative, but it's not meant to be.
The reality of the situation is" the Cardinals are 1 & 5, they're not trending upward and gate attendance is barely over 20,000.
We know it. They know it. Fans would like to hear something from the team and its people that will make them feel more optimistic that some sort of corner is being turned (or about to be turned).

I'd like to see the question extended to the season, for example, "at what point in the season would it be reasonable to expect to see more of Josn McCown in game situations?" I understand the coaches might feel like they know what they have in the kid, but if nothing else, they should show the fans what we have so they don't flip out if we don't grab a QB in the draft or FA. Conversly, if he plays poorly, we'll know why we did take a QB early rather than a defensive player, etc...

Good question Jeff...All I would add is that I would not like to hear the same rah rah answer about someone falling on their sword and taking the blame. If that is the case, and the person is sincere, then they should step down or bench themselves.
I would like to hear a specific plan and what can be done to get this team winning.

Nothing wrong with specifics RedStorm. I was referrring to you not accepting rah rah answers...... but upon further review screw it, you're right, we need to demand some honest answers form these guys.

I think we should ask them the tougher questions... It was closed after my post and I think my question was valid. All you people do is ask the weak questions and nothing tough. make them sweat a bit. They are pros and are paid alot of money to be playing much better than they are.
That's cool. I just get tired of someone accepting the blame. There is alot of that to go around for everyone. But, I would like to hear a plan.
Plus, if I were the one holding onto the 10 mill or so, I would get all the players together and say "We have this 10 mill. What should we do with it? Who would enhance this team and give us the best chance to win". Get the players input. I don't know if that happens but that is what I would do.
