A report from NFL Media's draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah may offer the best case scenario for the San Francisco 49ers entering the 2025 NFL draft.

The priorities for the 49ers entering the draft can be debated, but there's no real argument to be made about the importance of this year's class for them. San Francisco is in the midst of a roster revamp that will require big-time, early contributions from the 2025 draft class.

Jeremiah on Tuesday reported after conversations with NFL coaches and general managers that this year's class doesn't have a ton of star power, but it's a good draft for teams in need of starters.

"I've talked to several GM's and HC's over the last week & everyone seems to agree-- this draft is a starter draft," Jeremiah wrote on Twitter. "Maybe not a ton of star power but your goal should be to come away with 3-4 solid starters. They are out there. Go find them."

This is the exact type of draft the 49ers need to have. They own 11 picks and have at least that many holes up and down their depth chart. Finding stars is preferable, but it's not imperative for the 49ers this year. Instead they need to find at least two starters on the defensive line. A starting cornerback or linebacker would be nice. Perhaps a starting safety or another starting wide receiver. There are a slew of areas they can attack to fill holes this year, and if Jeremiah's projection via NFL coaches and GMs is correct, the 49ers should have ample chances to find the starters they need.
