Tyler Reddick took his first lead on the final lap of the Daytona 500 NASCAR Cup Series race on Feb. 15 by passing Chase Elliott and held on for his first win in The Great American Race.

Nine cars finished with nine-tenths of a second behind Reddick, in the 23IX No. 45 Toyota, co-owned by Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin at Daytona International Speedway.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr., winner of the 2023 Daytona 500 was second and Joey Logano was third.

The 41-car field opened the 2026 season with the biggest race of the year.
