Here’s a chance to help determine the fans’ choice for best high school boys track and field athlete in the Upstate. Voting is unlimited and the poll will be open until noon on June 14.

Here are the finalists from the best of 2026 representing the Greenville, Spartanburg and Anderson areas.

Reid Finley, Liberty: Finley won SCHSL Class 2A state championships in the 800 meters (1:57.84) and 1600 meters (4:22.36).

Chanin ‘Choo’ Harris, Byrnes: Harris won 5A Division 1 state championships in the 100 meters (10.40 seconds) and the 200 meters (21.28). His 100 meters time was the fastest in the state in 2026.

VOTE FOR GIRLS: Who was Upstate's best girls track and field athlete?

Luke Hurley, Boiling Springs: Hurley won 5A Division 1 state championships in the 1600 meters (4:12.98) and the 3200 meters (9:16.89).

Caden Johnston, Travelers Rest: Johnson won 4A state championships in the discus (49.5) and javelin (55.99 meters).

Mekhi Malcolm, T.L. Hanna: Malcolm defended his 5A Division 2 shot put championship with a state-record throw of 19.8 meters. He finished second in the discus.

Alex Munguia, Blue Ridge: Munguia won 4A state championships in the 100 meters (10.80 seconds) and the 200 meters (21.38 seconds).

Keilon Tucker, Chapman: Tucker won 3A state championships in the 110 hurdles (14.88 seconds) and the 400 hurdles (54.98).
