Top Week 15 fantasy news

Philip Rivers, 44 and out of retirement, set to start for Colts

The future Hall of Famer is set to start at quarterback for Indy over Riley Leonard, on the heels of an improbable comeback following Daniel Jones' season-ending Acihlles tear.

Rivers' presence could help midrange targets like Tyler Warren, Michael Pittman, and long-forgotten preseason sleeper Josh Downs. Alec Pierce, who lives on downfield targets, sees his weekly fantasy ceiling crater.

As if he weren't busy enough already, Jonathan Taylor should continue to serve as the lightning rod for this Colts offense, but unfortunately, the threat of the pass doesn't at least give opponents pause.

Regarding Rivers himself, however, he's not worth a start in 1QB leagues versus the Seahawks' vaunted defense. Maybe if you're desperate in superflex/2QB, but that's probably even a stretch, too.

Fantasy NFL weather updates for Week 15

Browns-Bears is expected to be run-heavy, pushing Quinshon Judkins, D'Andre Swift, and Kyle Monangai into flex-or-better territory. All are worth starting.

The Eagles-Raiders game features enough erratic offensive performances without the white stuff on the ground getting in their way, but start your stars.

Hard to bench Ja'Marr Chase even in these conditions, especially with Tee Higgins out and the Ravens' defense remaining friendly to wide receivers. Go ahead and start your stars here, too.

Brady Cook starting at QB for Jets

Justin Fields (knee) and Tyrod Taylor (groin) will both sit out, and the undrafted free agent will give it a go.

With Garrett Wilson remaining out, the only skill players considering outside of Breece Hall are wideouts Adonai Mitchell and John Metchie Jr., both dart throws, at best, with everyone in play sans byes.

Watch for updates on major Week 15 fantasy news.
