Who is down with trading Kyler and tanking to get into this 2026 QB Class?

My mom is a Vietnam veteran who has beat cancers 4 times so far. It’s been tough seeing her going down hill.
Very worthy cause for KM to represent. I appreciate these guys for the support they give to kids and veterans.

Thoughts and prayers to you and your Mom NMCard.

I'm out on kyler as a star QB...he just ain't it.
But he is better than Trent Dilfer...and Trent won a Super Bowl.
I would be up for trading him if the right offer came in.
But now is not the time. You trade a starting QB in February or March...when you can put a number to the picks you are getting.
That way you can combine that capital to your own picks and trade with Cleveland or new York for a top three pick
I agree with your overall premise, but I disagree that Murray isn’t a star QB.
- Outside of the first 7 games of 2021, he’s never played alongside a defense that created short fields for him.
- 115 touchdown passes, only 57 interceptions. Lowest interception % in Cardinal history.
- Holds 16 Cardinal franchise records.
-Career 67% completion percentage
- 31 rushing touchdowns
- Has averaged almost 4000 passing yards in every full season he’s played. And that was without much talent on the OL and in the WR room.
- Only been sacked 179 times in his career & that’s behind some really bad pass protectors for most of his career. I watched Charlie Johnson, Jim Hart, Neil Lomax, and Jake Plummer. They were the only QB’s who were around long enough to be part of this discussion. I never thought Plummer was a star, but the other 3 were stars in their era. Like Murray, none of them ever had a defense to make their jobs easier. And yet, Murray has surpassed so many of them already.

With a much improved defense & an offense without a rookie WR1 who’s ready to explode in year 2, Murray will an be MVP candidate in 2025.

I have been a cardinals fan since the 1970's. I have seen jim hart ,Neil Lomax and others. Lomax was the best pure passer the cards have had too bad he got injured with the hip. Kyler is the best overall QB the team has had. I really believe in the front office we have that they have a plan as to what they want to do and are putting that team together. When it does come together this team is going to reach levels they have only come close to a couple of times and this time it will be sustainable for the long haul. Kyler will be the QB to lead that team

He needs to win a couple playoff games to get past Kurt but overall he is like top 5. It's a low bar but the bar is real

AS a Cards fans since 1975 nothing sounds more exciting to me than intentionally losing a bunch of games in a year we could be pretty good, so that Arch Manning can then refuse to sign with us. Sign me up

Jake (and Kwame) tore down Sun Devil Stadium and then beat the Cowboys in a playoff game when they owned us for a decade.
Yep, the defense literally shutdown everything troy’s cowboys threw at them.

Among the best defensive efforts I have seen from a Cardinals team in a pressure laced game.

Yes, jake didn’t screw the pooch in this classic. The following game, not the case.
