Pierre Thomas, Jeremy Shockey, Will ............... :p. Actually,i want to see how Levi does against Will Smith if they go head up on each other. Smith is about as good as there is.

-DRC, he should dominate considering NOR has crappy receivers after Coleston.
DRC could get his ass handed to him tonight. After Colston they have Henderson and Copper, who are both young but pretty good (and big). They also drafted Meacham, who looks to me to be the real deal.

Trouble with evaluating Long is that St. Pierre or Mondelli will probably be throwing to him. And Hightower will be running behind the second team OL and against a second team DL. At least with a RB you can sense his "style", does he make guys miss, break tackles, block, etc. With a WR it's tougher. JMO.

Based on Edge's typical pre-season effort... we will likely see Hightower and JJ get the majority carries in the first 3 quarters... after that... whoever is left and PS guys will be looked at I would guess.

Oh and Brett Favre.

I'm sure he'll be in (the ESPN broadcast) for at least 20 plays tonight.

The first pre-season game is the only game I take binoculars with me. That's to scope out the 2008 cheerleaders. 16 ounce Heineken and check the new group for stunners or bow wows.

Takes about 5 minutes of pre-game. After that, it's football for the next 5 months or more.

Every player mentioned by others is worth watching.

I'm looking for pace on offense. How long to get plays in, get in and out of the huddle and the ball snapped.

Penalties. What kind? Who?

-He wouldn't be on Colston.

-Colston is out.

-Henderson is questionable.

-Copper is a scrub.

-Meacham should be interesting.. He was solid in college, but then he showed up overweight in camp and ended up hurting himself.. Saints report says he's made progress, but i don't think he's even good enough to beat out Henderson. Not worried. :)
