The Houston Texans hope to get back to their winning ways when they host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday at NRG Stadium. To accomplish that, Houston will have to find a spark without several starters.
Quarterback C.J. Stroud was already ruled out of Sunday's game during Wednesday's press conference. He, along with kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn, will watch from the sidelines as Davis Mills and Matthew Wright try to secure a win through the air and with field goal attempts.
Stroud and Fairbairn aren't the only two names to monitor entering Sunday's must-win game. Offensive tackle Tytus Howard will miss after suffering a concussion in the second quarter of Week 9's loss to the Denver Broncos and did not return. Defensive back Jalen Pitre, who was also drilled in the fourth quarter and did not return to practice with a concussion, is also out.
Offensive lineman Ed Ingram played through a knee injury last week, will also miss Sunday's game.
After missing Wednesday's practice, defensive end Will Anderson Jr. (quad), defensive lineman Denico Autry (knee), and running back Nick Chubb (foot) all returned to practice. Meanwhile, running back Dameon Pierce went from being healthy to limited.
So, who's out for Houston? Who's out for the Jaguars?
