MadJack the Banner Guy here. You may remember me as the dude that hung personalized banners at every home game - for 27 years! See pic. That’s roughly 195 banners until I jumped off the bang wagon nearly four years ago.

I’d had enough and didn’t renew my season tix - after 30 years!

So, I have to ask you hard core fans: who’s bailing out and not renewing their tickets?

Thanks and God love ‘ya.

MadJack.

Everyone should not renew. Everyone.

Stuck for one more year in Club section as we have license for 3 years for the seats. Been a ticket holder for 25 years but totally disgusted with everything. This is as bad as it gets with little hope for the future. No enjoyment going to games anymore.

Man I miss the MadJack banners. Such a shame the stadium stopped letting you do this, this was a key tradition.

But I did decide to renew, tickets didn't go up (final bill was higher than last year but next year we play one more home game).

I looked at the schedule and there will be some decent home games in the mix so it was compelling enough for me to renew. Though I’m going this Sunday and literally don’t want to, but my 10 year old son hasn’t been this season so we’re going.

It's been 4 years? Wow! How time flies (at my age  ).

Take care, loved your banners on here.

Im always looking to improve our location but found that we love the club area. We try and make it to 3-4 home games and have enjoyed everyone of them even the losses.

Although the losses are starting to hinder our enthusiasm for going its still a great time.

Maybe Broken Romeo could play a halftime next season. According to my wife the other bands haven't been that spectacular.

I miss them because of going out to meet other fans at the half, but I'd skip a meetup to hear your band out there.

Mine did not autonew but there is an invoice to be paid. Paid over $16K combined for the past 6 years but season ticket holder for like 26-27 years. I am holding off until I see what transpires over the FA and Draft.

If ticket revenue mattered as much as TV revenue, I'd agree with you.
it does, especially box / premium seat revs as Mike keeps 100% of that

it might only be 15-20% of total revenues -- but trust me: Nearly every business out there would be in giant trouble if they lost 15-20% of its revenues.

Mike will feel it if some material portion of his ticket base doesnt renew

Any kind of boycott or non-ticket-renewal idea is only effective if there isn't someone scooping in after you leave to buy what you stopped buying. It does no good for fan AAA to quit if ticket broker ZZZ steps in to purchase the now available seats.

Off topic: anyone remember who was head coach when Bill Ray Cyrus played at SDS?

Good times
Figures you'd remember since it was after a Cards/Bears preseason game. LOL

I opted out of the auto renew. I've had tickets since 2002 but seriously thinking about bailing.
The last home game against the 9er's just about sealed the deal for me, along with the rest of the uninspired performances the last few weeks.
I will be coming in town for this weekend's game against Atlanta but in all honesty, the actual game is the thing I am least looking forward to for the trip. Which says a lot. If we weren't taking my son to youth football camp at stadium on Saturday, we may have cancelled.
