Colson Montgomery might be flying just a bit under the radar.
But the Chicago White Sox young left-handed slugger is one of the best power hitters in baseball already.
He homered again on Sunday, a home run in back-to-back games, and he just keeps putting up astounding numbers.
Most of these home runs aren't cheap, either. Montgomery's power is prodigious:

Sunday marked the 44th homer of Montgomery's career, an incredible number considering that he was only called up midway through last season.
Montgomery's first homer came on July 22, 2025.
According to MLB Network's Sarah Langs, Montgomery is third in all of MLB in home runs since that date.
Kyle Schwarber has 54 since then, and Junior Caminero is at 46.
Then there's Montgomery with his 44.
Caminero wouldn't be ahead of Montgomery if he hadn't just hit a home run per game for the last week-and-a-half.
Montgomery has been strong and steady in blasting the ball out of the ballpark. At this point, he seems like a foundational piece for a White Sox team on the rise.
It's safe to expect these homers to keep coming from Montgomery.
