On a wild Day 3 of the 2026 White Marlin Open, there was a ton of turnover on the leaderboard, with a white marlin catch now the top big money contender.
Here's where the leaderboard stands after Day 3
Angler James Hood of Charleston, S.C., aboard the Bullpen out of Charleston, caught a 70-lb white marlin currently worth $5,637,541.
Angler Kelly Weber of Vero Beach, Fla., aboard the MaxBet out of Vero Beach, caught a 607.5-lb. blue marlin currently worth $1,260,923.
Angler John Wardlaw of Brielle, NJ, aboard the Gray Fox out of Mantoloking, NJ, caught a 179-lb. tuna currently worth $1,069,766.75.
Angler Robert Leerink of Boston, aboard the Speculator out of Palm Beach, Fla., caught a 146.5-lb. tuna currently worth $164,391.75.
Angler Anthony Rubino of Pottstown, Pa, aboard the See Legs out of Fenwick Island, caught a 110.5-lb. tuna currently worth $164,170.50.

Angler Russell Armstrong of Ocean City, aboard the Sidepiece out of Ocean City, caught a 31.5-lb. dolphin currently worth $113,061.
Angler Ronnie McGinn of Pottstown, Pa., about the Bird Dog out of Chincoteague, caught a 28.5-lb. dolphin currently worth $64,425.
As of Day 3, there haven't yet been any qualifying wahoo or swordfish catches.
