Which WSL teams have the most players at the Asian Cup?
The Women's Asian Cup kick-off in Australia on March 1st and will continue until the 21st which will have an impact on all 12 teams in the Women's Super League, which returns to action on March 15th.
Remarkably, the 28 WSL players travelling to the tournament feature just two nations: Australia and Japan
In previous years, WSL sides have been represented by Chinese or South Korean internationals but not so much this time, with the Japanese team in particular primarily made up of talent currently plying their trade in England.
Unfortunately for those sides, Australia and Japan are among the favourites to go all the way with that fixture being the final in the 2014 and 2018 editions of the tournament.
