The USMNT is bringing international flair to the 2026 World Cup. Gio Reyna is among seven USMNT players who were born abroad, comprising nearly a fourth of Mauricio Pochettino's 26-player roster.

This World Cup marks the U.S.'s second time hosting and first since 1994, before many of these players were born. The USMNT has never reached a World Cup final, but perhaps, by some miracle, this will be the year.

The players born abroad will be pivotal to the effort. Reyna, who played sparingly for the U.S. in the last World Cup at age 20, is hoping to prove he can be a major contributor this time around. Alejandro Zendejas, meanwhile, is making his World Cup debut after developing into one of Liga MX's best players.

Here's the full list.

One notable exception is Folarin Balogun, who was born in New York but moved to England at one month old and grew up there.
