The Tennessee Titans are off this week as they prepare to start the final week of organized team activities (OTAs), and things are relatively quiet around the team facility.

Now, with that time, many players and analysts are talking with different media outlets, includingESPN analyst Turron Davenport, who joined the Titans Report Podcast, broke down which free agent addition he believes will make the biggest impact in 2026.

“I’ll probably go with John Franklin Myers. I think just the instant impact he brings playing alongside Jeffrey Simmons, playing inside, outside, the familiarity with the scheme. His presence, with seven and a half sacks as an interior guy, is nothing to scoff at, and just having those two together, I think, is going to be a huge impact and something that’s going to help that defense.”

Davenport is spot on; between Franklin-Myers familiarity with both Robert Saleh and the system, he should be able to slide right in next to Simmons and help transform the Titans’ defense in 2026, not to mention be able to help mentor rookie first-round pick Keldric Faulk early in his career.
