Barcelona agreed to send Ronald Araujo on loan to Liverpool in a huge surprise move this weekend, with the Uruguayan set to spend the season at Anfield.

Liverpool have an option to buy which means they could lose Araujo for good, so the signing of a new center-back feels necessary.

The Catalans have already been linked with Tottenham Hotspur and Argentina defender Cristian Romero in recent hours, and it looks like Barça will indeed look into signing a new central defender before the window closes.
