Where will Fayetteville high school football teams scrimmage this week?

The high school football season is in full effect for the 2026 season, and live action is approaching.

This year's Cumberland County Jamboree is set for Aug. 14, with Pine Forest and Jack Britt hosting, and the regular-season kickoff is set for Aug. 21.

While teams continue to prepare for opening action, here's a look at where Fayetteville-area teams are headed for the first official scrimmages on Aug. 7.

Where: Fairmont High, Robeson County Jamboree

Time: 8 p.m.

Cape Fear​

Time: 6 p.m.

Gray's Creek​

Jack Britt​

Seventy-First​

Where: Knightdale High
