Marking the last major event of the season, the 2026 Figure Skating World Championships come to Prague this week.

Following the Milan Cortina Olympics in February, dozens of the world's best skaters will reconvene in Czechia with hopes of ending the season on a high note. Some of the top finishers in the Winter Games have pulled out of the entry list, though, leaving the door open for other athletes.

While gold medalist Alysa Liu and ice dance silver medalists Madison Chock and Evan Bates won't compete, fans can expect to see the return of Americans Amber Glenn and Ilia "Quad God" Malinin as they hit the ice for the first time since the Olympics, where they both had underwhelming finishes. Three-time world champion Kaori Sakamoto will also be competing in Prague, marking the last competition of her career at just 25 years old.
