Where is Jalen Williams? Why star is missing for Thunder after playing 1st quarter for OKC originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.

Jalen Williams missed a lot of time this season with injury.

It looks like that may be happening again in Game 2 of the Western Conference Final on Wednesday night as the Oklahoma City Thunder try to even things up with the San Antonio Spurs.

Williams played about seven and a half minutes in the first quarter.

The Thunder's second-leading scorer didn't play a second of the second quarter, though.

They haven't ruled him out, but that's a bad sign.

Update: Williams was ruled out early in the third quarter.

What happened to Jalen Williams?

Williams appears to have aggravated his left hamstring.

According to NBC's halftime show, that's what he was getting treatment on while he was out of the game.

That's the same ailment that forced Williams to miss a chunk of the regular season.

The good news for the Thunder is that they were winning without him. They have such impressive depth that they can withstand such an absence.

It's still not ideal in the long run if Williams has re-injured the hammy, because that's an unpredictable, tricky injury to have.
