I know people have scoffed at this, but I would still be interested in bringing in Hurts as a long term backup/Taysom Hill-lite type. I don't see the downside of having a 3rd QB who is well versed in our style of offense and can do some similar things to Kyler, even if it just means trading him down the line.

Edit: To be clear, not until the 4th at the earliest, more likely later than that.

Intrigued about the OL Hunt. He seems to be getting a lot of attention lately. More of a guard but would be a good third round pick. Sweezy has one year left on his deal, and Pugh could be a cap cut after next year
Gone before we pick.

I would like to add a d-lineman to take up blockers and free up Simmons to make plays.

who might that be? Blacklock, Davis or ?

I think that SK makes a move during the second round. Could involve a trade (Howard from TB), a FA signing or even a top pick from next year (maybe our first rounder) in order to get us a high 2nd round pick, if a player he likes is available. Don't think he can "sit still" waiting for pick #72. JMO.
