Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence was one of five finalists for the NFL's MVP award.
So how many first-place votes did Lawrence receive?
Ultimately, the award went to LA Rams' quarterback Matthew Stafford, who received 24 first-place votes. Lawrence finished in fifth place in the voting.
Lawrence finished the 2025 season completing 61% of his passes for 4,214 yards with 41 total touchdowns -- including 32 passing -- to 14 interceptions. Among all quarterbacks, he ranked seventh in passing yards and fourth in passing touchdowns.
During the Jaguars' eight-game winning streak to end the regular season, in which the offense averaged almost 33 points per game, Lawrence ranked fourth in total passing yards.
He was also third in yards per pass attempt, second in passing touchdowns, and had the fifth-lowest turnover-worthy play rate. We also saw Lawrence make a lot of plays with his legs.
"He's taking care of the football, but also playing aggressive," Coen said of Lawrence's play late this past season. "He's throwing the ball on time and in rhythm and accurately, but also using his legs as a weapon, and being able to extend football plays, make plays outside of the pocket, which forces the defense to defend every blade of grass."
