AUBURN — Once winners of four straight, Auburn basketball is facing the possibility of its first three-game losing streak following a fruitless light week.
The Tigers were off after losing to Tennessee on Jan. 31. They didn't see the court until a week later, and a rivalry reunion with Alabama handed Auburn a second consecutive loss, dropping it to .500 in league play.
It dropped Auburn a seed line in the latest bracketology projections for this year's March Madness, though the Tigers' résumé still has them in the thick of the field.
Each week, the Montgomery Advertiser will take a look back at Auburn's previous week and assess its NCAA Tournament résumé. Here's what the latest seven days turned in.
All rankings entering Tuesday, Feb. 10.
