Where 5 former Indiana basketball players are playing in 2026 NBA Summer League

The 2026 NBA Summer League started July 9, and this year features plenty of familiar faces. From last year's team and beyond, the candy stripes will be well-represented over the next couple weeks.

Here's a list of former Indiana Hoosiers that will be participating in Summer League this year.

Lamar Wilkerson, Oklahoma City Thunder​

A bright spot on last year's Hoosiers' squad, Wilkerson played just one season with the Hoosiers after transferring in from Sam Houston State. Many were surprised to see Wilkerson go undrafted a few weeks back, but he quickly reached an agreement with Oklahoma City on an Exhibit-10 deal.

Tucker DeVries, Boston Celtics​

DeVries followed his father and who became coach at Indiana for his final year of collegiate basketball last season. Although his scoring was down, the versatile forward chipped in for the Hoosiers in a variety of ways last season. After going undrafted, he joined the Celtics on an Exhibit-10 deal.

Sam Alexis, Oklahoma City Thunder​

The Florida native transferred to Indiana after winning a national championship the year prior in Gainesville. Nonetheless, Alexis started as a key bench piece before working his way into the starting lineup for the final stretch of the year. Joining Wilkerson in Oklahoma City, Alexis is on a Summer League deal.

Reed Bailey, Phoenix Suns​

Bailey transferred to Indiana from Davidson, after becoming one of the best players the year prior in the A-10 Conference. It was a down year for Bailey in Bloomington, but he remains an intriguing prospect with a unique skillset. He is joining Phoenix on a Summer League deal.

Luke Goode, Los Angeles Lakers​

The only former Hoosier this year that didn't play last season in Bloomington, Goode played last season with the Lakers' G-League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers. Goode is currently on a standard G-League contract, but was named to this year's Summer League roster.
