When will Sixers target LeBron James make his free agency decision?

The Philadelphia 76ers, as well as the rest of the NBA, are anxiously waiting to see what type of decision LeBron James will make in free agency. The Sixers have reached out to James in the process and appear to be a legitimate option for him after they appeared on the infamous whiteboard put out by super agent Rich Paul and were in the top left corner of the board.

As free agency now continues, one has to wonder when James will make his decision. The Sixers and the rest of the league will wait as they look to add the future Hall of Famer to their roster and make a serious run at a title. Philadelphia has not won since 1983 and hasn't been past Round 2 since 2001.

Per Forbes, everybody will be waiting a few more days as James mulls over his options:

“I don’t think this happens anytime soon,” Paul told me.

Should teams be prepared for James to make a decision in weeks instead of days?

“I don’t think it’ll be the next few days," Paul said.

As Paul mentioned, it appears that James will be taking his time on what could be the final free agency decision of his career. When considering he is 41 and entering year 24, one has to believe the end of what has been a legendary career is coming soon. The Sixers will just have to remain in wait and see mode.
