When does 2026 Little League World Series start? How to watch games on TV, stream

The United States teams competing in the 12-year-old division of the Little League World Series are currently battling it out in their respective regional tournaments.

The Southeast Region and the Southwest Region are both scheduled to crown a champion on Tuesday, August 11 to become the first two U.S. teams named to the 2026 edition of the Little League World Series, which is from August 19-30 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

In all, 10 regional champions from the United States will compete in one LLWS bracket, while 10 international champions will face each other in another LLWS bracket before the two end with a U.S. bracket winner and an international bracket winner on Saturday, August 29.

The winners of the two bracket championship games move on to the overall LLWS championship game on Sunday, August 30 while the losing teams from those games play in the LLWS third-place consolation game earlier in the day.

Who won the 2025 Little League World Series?​

Chinese Taipei, the Asia-Pacific region champion, coasted to the 2025 Little League World Series title behind its ace pitcher, Lin Chin-Tse.

Chin-Tse’s pitching line was simply dominant – 5 innings, 1 hit, 0 errors, 0 walks, 4 strikeouts – and he also had the most important hit (a bases clearing triple) in the game during his team’s five-run bottom of the fifth inning.

On the strength of Chin-Tse’s arm and the stellar defense behind him, Chinese Taipei defeated Nevada, 7-0, to win its first Little League World Series title since 1996, snapping a 29-year drought for the country.
