The dilemma here is that there are not that many players available better than what is already on the roster.

I’m not as concerned about Adams as the majority here. He showed that he can play in the run game and struggled big time in pass protection. That is a concern, but he was raw coming out and OL usually doesn’t reach their level until year three. He will develop. Question is to what level.

With that said. I think we need to add someone else. I would prefer Brown to be luxury depth.

If Hernandez is healthy then that would be the best option.

Scheff could be an option. A failed LT in Willis could be an option.

As an offensive line nerd I’m interested in two depth players on the roster. I want to see something from Gaines. He looked okay pre injury and then he hasn’t sniffed the field for almost two seasons. The other one is Jake Curhan that was signed from the Bears. A failed RT that looked good in limited time at G. Not expecting much from either, but interesting to follow

I heard Scherff hasn’t signed because he’s asking $12K.
and being a veteran not going to get anxious to sign anytime soon unless he gets the deal he can’t refuse.

Most teams will evaluate needs again after they see what they have post the upcoming workouts.
