What was wrong with PP21 the first half of season?

I've heard references made about him going thru a 'medical' condition that was affecting him mentally, but they refuse to talk about it.

“For the first time in a long time I felt 100 percent,” Peterson said. “I just got tired of hearing all the criticism, people not knowing the situation.”

Well for starters he's defending inaccurate throws but that pick-6 was incredible. Next week he needs to earn that bread.

Peterson had a sprained ankle. Played through it when he should have been in a walking cast.

If you have the Raiders game on team you can see him unlacing his shoe as the final whistle blows.

Keim was asked about what was going on with PP this season and he said something like "I don't want to discuss Patrick's personal life, but he is doing a lot better now.."

It definitely made it sound like PP was going through some off the field problems and didn't have his mind in the game.

Obviously pure speculation.. but maybe the wife wants to take half of that huge contract and run.. Ha!

Once again, Patrick Peterson is not one of this team's problems.

He is married. Was mentioned when the talk about his extension was going on.

He and his wife were on a pre-game TV piece a couple of weeks ago. She's studying to be a doctor, IIRC. She's very bright and he was saying she holds him to high standards as a player. As in, "Don't let them catch ANY balls" high. His new house and car collection (nice) were part of the interview.

Lots of people suffer from mental conditions we never hear about. Perhaps he was dealing with his own demons. More people suffer than we think.
