Football fans, the drought is over.
After months of mock drafts, free agency moves, training camp reports and endless countdowns, actual NFL football returns Thursday night when the Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals meet in the 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio. The matchup officially opens the NFL preseason and kicks off Hall of Fame weekend festivities.
The game begins at 8 p.m. ET Thursday, Aug. 6, from Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. NBC will broadcast the game nationally, and streaming is available through Peacock. Pregame coverage starts at 7 p.m. ET with Football Night in America.
