The 2026 NFL Draft is here.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will soon be walking across the stage in Pittsburgh and announcing the beginning of this year's draft along with all 32 first-round picks tonight.

The draft order saw a huge shake up this past weekend when the New York Giants traded away three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence to the Cincinnati Bengals in exchange for the No. 10 overall pick.


Similar to their MetLife counterparts in the New York Jets, the Giants now own two first-round picks, joining the Jets, Rams, Cowboys, Browns and Dolphins currently with multiple first-round selections.

When is the 2026 NFL Draft?​

  • Thursday, April 23 through Saturday, April 25

The 2026 NFL Draft will be a three-day event that takes place in Pittsburgh outside of Acrisure Stadium -- home of the Steelers -- that begins with Round 1 on Thursday, April 23, continues with Rounds 2 and 3 on Friday, April 24 and concludes with Day 3 (Rounds 4 through 7) on Saturday, April 25.

What time is the NFL Draft 2026?​

  • Thursday, April 23: 8 p.m. ET
  • Friday, April 24: 7 p.m. ET
  • Saturday, April 25: 12 p.m. ET

2026 NFL Draft rule change​


There's one noticeable difference in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Starting this year, NFL teams will now have only eight minutes to make a pick in the first round.

This ends the 17-year period where teams had 10 minutes to make a first-round selection from 2008-25.
