The San Francisco 49ers will enter Day 2 of the NFL draft with three scheduled picks. Whether they wind up using those specific picks is still up in the air.
Instead of trading back in Round 1, the 49ers stood pat at No. 11 overall and selected Georgia defensive end Mykel Williams.
No trade back in the first round doesn't mean the 49ers' chances to wheel and deal are done. There's a ton of good talent left entering the second round and San Francisco may be in a position to trade back from their scheduled second-round pick to accumulate additional capital later on Day 2 and Day 3.
Day 2 of the draft will feature the second and third rounds. The 49ers pick once in Round 2 and twice in Round 3 if they wind up standing pat again.
Here are the 49ers' scheduled picks for Day 2:
Round 2, Pick 11: No. 43 overall
San Francisco has only one pick in the second round, but it wouldn't be a shock if they facilitate a trade that either moves them down in Round 2 or secures an additional second-round choice.
Round 3, Pick 11: No. 75 overallRound 3, Pick 36: No. 100 overall (Compensatory)
If the 49ers are moving around the board earlier on Day 2, it could net them an extra top 100 pick.
