Personally I like almost all of them. Almost, lol. I grew up listening to Elvis so he's a fav. I like Jingle Bell Rock and Run, Run, Rudolph. McCartneys' Wonderful Christmastime.

I don't like Do They Know It's Christmas for a few reasons. And Madonna's Santa Baby is my least favorite rendition of that song.

A good question to ask here, is “Why?” Why is Christmas one of your favs, and why do you like most holidays? What characteristics about Christmas and other holidays cause you to feel the warm & fuzzy’s?

For me, Thanksgiving has always been my favorite. Coming from a huge family of Italian Americans, Thanksgiving was always a special time of unending food and tackle football up at the high school field with all my cousins and my youngest uncle. Along with catching the NFL games later in the afternoon.

Our family would gather this way for Easter and Christmas as well, however, the food and football took Thanksgiving to the next level!

I like relatively few "modern" Christmas songs - ie songs younger than me

Exceptions:
Merry Christmas Darling, by the Carpenters
Carol of the Bells - Trans-Siberian Orchestra

20th century songs:
The Little Drummer Boy
I'll Be Home for Christmas

Mostly like Christmas Hymns
Silent Night
Joy to the World
Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
It Came Upon a Midnight Clear
What Child Is This,
O Little Town of Bethlehem
Angels We Have Heard on High

And my two favorites
O Come, All Ye Faithful
O Holy Night

Most of the songs on the Home Alone Soundtrack, including the score. That's a perfect Christmas soundtrack, IMO.

Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree probably takes the win though.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town - Sinatra

A lot of the music from the Rankin/Bass specials from the 60s is good too (Rudolph, Frosty, Santa Claus is Coming to Town). Ironically, some of the worst is from another Rankin/Bass production called Twas the Night Before Christmas.

Might be #1 for me too.
But I have an unhealthy infatuation with George's voic.
I often set my Alexa and listen to that dude sing for a couple days at a time.

Phenomenal talent and the documentary made me like him even more turns out he was just a great guy who everybody loved

If I had to pick one, just one...that made it officially Christmas...
