The Knicks' championship parade will take place in lower Manhattan, with a projected turnout that may surpass anything the city has ever seen before.

Here is the exact route, and what to expect.

When will the Knicks parade begin?

The ticker-tape parade is expected to begin at 10 a.m., near Battery Park.

But officials warned that, with the expected turnout, arriving at least two hours before it begins may be ideal.

The parade will begin near Battery Park and make its way up lower Manhattan, traveling north on Broadway.

The route, also known as the Canyon of Heroes, is a historic stretch of road known for holding most of the city's ticker-tape parades.

It will then end at City Hall, where the Knicks will receive the keys to the city in a ticketed event.

How to win Knicks ceremony tickets

A short deadline was given to those who want to put their name in for tickets for the City Hall ceremony.

New Yorkers can apply for the lottery at Knicks.com/CeremonySweeps, and submissions will be closed on Wednesday, June 17, at 11 a.m.

Submissions will be randomly selected, and if chosen, the winner will receive two tickets to the ceremony.

Winners are expected to be notified the same day, June 17, and tickets will be transferred to the Ticketmaster account under the same email used in the submission, the website says. The tickets will not be able to be transferred.
