This event, deeply rooted in history, is a family affair, allowing participants' families – including children and grandchildren – to participate or serve as caddies. How to win Masters Par 3 Contest

The Par 3 Contest course features holes around DeSoto Springs Pond and Ike's Pod. The contestant with the most favorable score against par after nine holes is declared the winner. This means that the player's score is compared to the 'par' for each hole, and the contestant with the lowest total score wins. Rickie Fowler won in 2024 with a score of 22.

In the history of the Par 3 Contest, no player has ever won both the contest and the Masters Tournament in the same year.
