The Big East isn't decided yet, which means this weekend's matchup between No. 6 UConn and Georgetown will be one to watch.
Prior to last weekend, UConn was the undisputed leader of the Big East, but St. John's flipped the script. The Red Storm edged out the Huskies 81-72 in front of a sold-out Madison Square Garden crowd, dropping UConn's ranking by three spots before the Huskies (23-2) bounced back with a win at Butler on Wednesday.
Georgetown is not as tough a challenger on paper, sitting at 13-11 and 5-8 in conference play. The Hoyas had collected four straight wins prior to their most recent matchup, an 80-73 loss to Villanova. Georgetown has threatened UConn in the past — the squad forced a 64-62 near loss at home in January.
