The Oklahoma City Thunder have not lost a game in 27 days. Since the playoffs began, the Thunder are 6-0, sweeping the Suns and taking the first two games from the Lakers.

While there were certainly allegations of flopping waged against OKC in Game 2, they still resulted in a 125-107 victory. The Thunder also had three starters who scored at least 20 points in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren and Ajay Mitchell.

The Lakers have been scuffling, winning just one of their last five contests. In Game 2 against the Thunder, they were thrilled to have Austin Reaves back in the starting five. After missing the first round of the playoffs due to injury, Reaves scored 31 points in 38 minutes for the Lakers.

Looking ahead to Game 3, the Lakers will need a more active presence on the boards after Deandre Ayton. He totaled 10 of the team's 30 rebounds with a -4 +/- in an 18-point loss. Should they gain the majority of possessions, find put-backs, and control the ball, the Lakers have a shot in this series.

For the Thunder, they need to stick to the plan. They distributed the ball well over a variety of players, without relying on Gilgeous-Alexander as a sole scoring threat. They also got excellent bench production in Game 2, with Jaren McCain and Cason Wallace scoring 18 and 12, respectively.
